Group Fitness Classes in an art gallery in Florence

"One of the best things to happen to me abroad! I was able to enjoy the lifestyle in Florence, while doing fun and interactive physical activity. It was the best part of my week and I couldn’t rave about it more!! You’ll be smiling the entire time ☺️☺️☺️"

-Jill

"Gina's classes brought a new and exciting feeling to my workouts. The positive, contagious energy is unmatched and every single person leaves with a smile on their face. Not only was it an awesome way to stay active, but it brought together a community of girls with a shared love of movement within an unfamiliar environment during our time aboard. And by far the best part of my week always ❤️❤️❤️❤️"

"My friends and I attended Gina’s classes every week each lasting an hour and featuring a combination of cardio and strength exercises. I thoroughly enjoyed every class and was especially happy that I was able to maintain a consistent workout routine while studying abroad. Also, Gina is THE BEST and knows how to make every class both a challenging workout and also so much fun!!!! I will 100% be returning if I ever get the chance to go to Florence again in the future!!!!!"

-Emily

"Gina’s classes were something I always looked forward to every week during my time abroad. The way Gina structures her classes allows you to connect with yourself and others while having so much fun. 10/10 recommend for the best break in your busy week to sweat it out and have fun with friends :)"

"When I first was abroad I was looking for a way to move my body that was not just walking around the city and I found Gina's workouts which were not only fun and challenging but a great way to meet other people. The environment is personal and exciting I looked forward to this every week. I miss Gina's workouts.... if you are in Florence and if you have the opportunity to experience it, do it!" - Frankie

"I used to take Zoom classes with Gina over quarantine. When I found out she was living and teaching in Florence while studying abroad there, I couldn’t wait to get in on her classes! I looked forward to taking the workout classes she hosted weekly as a way to get my exercise in during busy weeks of traveling and studying. These classes were the best part of my week and I recommend them to anyone who wants to find time to workout and make connections with others during their study abroad experience!"

hi!  I'm Gina.

It was my dream to go abroad to Florence during college (Syracuse grad) and with my majors, it just didn’t work out. I ended up studying that semester in London, but long dreamed of Florence. I moved to NYC where I had a couple of careers - real estate, tech sales, and ultimately, a group fitness instructor. At age 28, I planned a solo trip to Florence and planned to stay for a week... immediately Florence made me happy... I fell in love with the magic of the city. Being a fitness instructor (and very much a class person) I was excited to try see what fitness options existed. I was both disappointed and inspired by what I discovered: I couldn't find the class environment I craved - but simultaneously I realized that the city really needed this; there are SO many people here who would benefit from it. That solo trip turned into a full move to Italy and has introduced me to hundreds of wonderful people who bond over our love for a feel-good fitness space.
